MAXITEC started in 1997 as a local Point of Presence (POP) for Interlink - one of the first Internet Service Providers (ISP's) in South Africa to supply commercial, dial-up services to consumers. The opportunity arose to obtain full control of the local POP when Interlink sold its client base to M-Web, a few years later. From this humble start, the company has grown to become a fully fledged, National ISP, providing premier services to a broad range of customers anywhere in South Africa.

The primary services offered by MAXITEC are internet access, e-mail and web hosting. We also offer a wide variety of complimenting services ranging from website development and -marketing, to customised business solutions.

Over the past 10 years, we have developed a solid understanding of customer requirements in terms of service delivery and support. One of the company's key objectives have always been to build long-lasting customer relationships, by providing exceptional service and individualised support.

Our customers have been so pleased with the lack of service interruptions, fast customer service, and savings over other established competitors, that they have been doing most of the marketing for us by "word of mouth". Since we are not quite as large as some other ISP's, we are able to pass on the savings to our valued customers while continuing to provide impeccable service with outstanding performance.

Although our customer base consists mainly of home users and SMME's, some of our larger corporate customers include Overstrand- and Mafikeng Municipalities. Key to MAXITEC's success is our personnel. By offering study incentives and regular in-house training, high standards of product- and customer support can be maintained.

With an extensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, MAXITEC is very involved in the community. We continuously support local non-profits, schools and other organisations/individuals; whether it's with money, personnel support, hosting, or connectivity if required.

MAXITEC holds a valid Value Added Network Service (VANS) License - VLS 40/0050, and is a proud member of the Internet Service Providers' Association (ISPA)
