Bosman Hermanus capturing Hemel-Aarde terroir in a glass The Bosman Framehouse interior at Bosman Hermanus The Vine Garden with over 50 different grape varieties

The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley is a special place, known not only for its vineyards, but also for its unspoilt landscape: the muted colours of the indigenous fynbos, the odd ambling porcupine, the hawk wheeling overhead in the wide blue sky and far off the sea, the mountains and then more sea.

To fully appreciate this simple wilderness, every effort was made to make minimal impact on the landscape. So no brick and mortar structures, no excavations, no interference in the natural rhythm of the place. Just a simple wood and canvas structure, aptly named Frame House, perches lightly in a field of fynbos and serves as a refreshment station. It is designed to be un-designed. The architectural structure is styled with a collection of light and aesthetic furniture pieces allowing the magnificent view to fill the room and dictate the pace and atmosphere.

For food and wine lovers there are mezze snacks to pair with a wide range of our Bosman Wines to taste, enjoy and purchase.

Outdoor enthusiasts can tackle one of the two child-friendly nature trails through the indigenous fynbos and our vineyards.

Bosman Hermanus invites you to come home to the world we never stopped belonging to.
